Environmental Management
Tai Tung Communication Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “TCC”) is committed to sustainable environmental development and actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility. Through systematic planning, implementation, and monitoring of environmental protection measures, we aim to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and achieve the goals of environmental protection and sustainability. We also ensure that all parts of our supply chain comply with environmental regulations and standards.
At the same time, we view environmental sustainability as a long-term business goal. We continue to promote the inventory and management of greenhouse gas emissions and disclose related information. Through these efforts, we demonstrate our commitment to environmental responsibility and aim to build investor confidence in our sustainability vision. In doing so, we strive to contribute to the sustainable development of the global ecosystem.
To achieve the above objectives, we have implemented the following measures:
l Environmental Impact Assessment:
Regularly assess the potential environmental impact of business activities and formulate corresponding strategies to mitigate negative impacts.
l Resource Management:
Use and manage resources such as water, energy, and raw materials efficiently to reduce waste and environmental pollution, thereby improving resource utilization efficiency.
l Emission Control:
Comply with domestic and international regulatory standards to control and reduce the discharge of wastewater and waste, ensuring the protection of environmental quality.
GHG Reduction Policy
TCC is headquartered in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, where it is responsible for operations management, while its manufacturing facility is located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City. From raw material procurement to production, we are committed to recycling and reusing production scrap. Waste materials that cannot be reused are handled by licensed waste disposal contractors.
We also implement strict management of water resources and waste. A 100% water recycling system has been fully implemented in our cooling systems. In addition, we continuously strive to improve energy efficiency in order to reduce energy consumption and minimize the environmental impact of our operations, thus contributing to long-term environmental sustainability.
To achieve our GHG reduction goals through self-regulated management, we have set a target to reduce GHG emission intensity by 30% by 2030 compared to the base year (2023). We plan to develop energy-saving and emission-reduction plans annually, set environmental targets, and hold regular review meetings to ensure the reduction of GHG emissions.

Water Resources and Waste Reduction Policy
TCC establishes internal environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management procedures in compliance with relevant environmental regulations issued by the Ministry of Environment, such as the Air Pollution Control Act, Water Pollution Control Act, Waste Disposal Act, and the Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances Control Act. To strengthen internal EHS management, TCC also adopts a management information system.
In addition, the company has obtained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification and continuously ensures the effectiveness of its management mechanisms and alignment with environmental regulations.
To further our commitment, TCC sets an annual target to reduce both water consumption and waste generation by 1% compared to the previous year through organizational assessments. We plan to develop reduction plans every year for water resources and waste emissions and hold regular review meetings to track progress and ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of these measures.

TCFD
To ensure sustainable business development and address the potential financial risks and opportunities brought by climate change, TCC has integrated climate issues into its existing risk management framework. The Risk Management Team, led by the General Manager, oversees related response mechanisms. The management department is responsible for climate risk management and regularly reports to the Board of Directors. Team members include heads of management, IT, finance, sales, and manufacturing departments. The team holds meetings to promptly respond to significant risk events or early warnings and regularly reports to the Board to ensure operational continuity and risk resilience.
TCC also refers to the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) framework, gradually establishing a climate risk management system through four steps: issue identification, materiality assessment, strategy planning, and target tracking. We regularly review and monitor our progress in addressing climate issues and adjust sustainability strategies and goals in accordance with the latest climate trends and regulatory changes.
